WOMEN'S WRESTLING IN JAPAN

Women's wrestling in Japan has a unique and a strange history. It had been an inferior show, but in the 70's, a very talented girl Mach Fumiake appeared, and suddenly it changed to a wonderful entertainment. Wrestlers fight to do their best, and spectators (very young girls) sympathize with their desperate movements. And many girls wish to become a wrestler !!

In this way, women's wrestling created wrestling booms several times in Japan. Beauty Pair in the 70's, and Crush Gals in the 80's, cute and strong tag teams won popularity. They created hit songs as idol singers.

In the 90's, women's wrestling in Japan advanced technically. Wrestlers were no longer idols of girls but very surprising athletes. Wrestling fans of men gave attention to their fights. And then, the last boom of women's wrestling come, big and showy 'All Star Games' were held many times.

However !! The biggest organization ALL JAPAN WOMEN'S PRO-WRESTLING failed in the end of 90's, and my favorite TV program of women's wrestling ended in 2002. Practically, women's wrestling in Japan was ruined. orz

Watching my dear videos, I will introduce wonderful fights of marvelous girls.
